Number Regions
Fill the blanks so that each connected group contains exactly as many cells as its number.

How to play
Fill every blank with a number. Orthogonally connected equal numbers form a region, and a region numbered n must contain exactly n cells. Separate regions with the same number cannot share an edge. These puzzles use 1–5. Gray clues are fixed.

A region cannot exceed its number or become trapped before reaching its required size. Eliminate numbers that would cause either problem until a cell has only one candidate. The numbers you enter determine the region boundaries.
