Spin and tip the cubes until all four sides show all four colors.

How to play

The four cubes are listed from the top of the tower down. Each row is one cube, and its four large squares are the four sides of the tower (north, east, south and west). Spin turns a cube 90° clockwise as seen from above; Tip rolls it toward you. The small squares on the right are its top and bottom faces. You win when every one of the four sides shows four different colors. Colors come with symbols: red circle, teal square, yellow triangle, purple star. The number under each column counts the colors showing on that side.

The color layouts were found by this site’s own random search. The solution counts for the three puzzles (3, 8 and 16) are checked by trying all 24⁴ = 331,776 combinations of orientations. How solutions are counted: the cubes are treated as different objects, and the order they are stacked in does not matter. Turning the whole tower around (4 ways) or upside down (twice that) gives the same solution. Auto-solve picks, among all solutions, the one that needs the fewest moves from where you are now.
